Designed for use in a foreign train control system.
The Z260402 was specially designed for use in a foreign train control system. The shielded circuit within the metric threaded housing is designed to suspend the signal within the supply voltage range to make the signal more immune to noise. The connector and sensing ends of the sensor are sealed against the adverse under car environment. The application uses Smith Systems, Inc. standard molded mating cable connector assemblies. The cable is protected with flexible stainless steel metal hose covered with chemical and fuel resistant booting.
