The model P260368 is designed for a turbine flowmeter application. The customer wanted a "no drag" sensor for use in his flow meter used in food processing. The challenge was to look through the stainless steel flow meter body at a stainless steel rotor or turbine and detect the rotation rate. Accuracy is an important factor since magnetic drag from a magnetic sensor can produce reading errors which are very costly. This custom product with its plastic housing and waterproof connector is similar in performance to our catalog model 280P901. These application help illustrate our interest and purpose.
